TRS was a nice person kind, gentle and soft spoken. He was more a friend than a father in law.I am not good at remembering incidents and things. The only thing I could do him was to visit him every sunday. I got lot of suggestions and advices from him. I am thankful to him for that.

The best quality I admire in him is that he accepted people as they are. He never expected more He never failed in his responsibilities but at the same time prepared to ignore others shortcomings in their responsibilities.

I wish he had lived some more years with us.

As I had gone out of Madras in 1964 and started coming to the city only after 1968 after my brother`s shifting to Madras, my contacts with TRS started only thereafter. Whenever we met he used to enquire about my father or talk about his association with my father and this continued till 1996.
I still cherish the memories of TRS giving away fresh and crisp notes to the younger ones depending upon the relation and age on Diwali days. The mutual affection between TNK and TRS is legendary and they cannot remain without seeing each other for more than 3/4 days. Further assistance and the help between them is known to everybody.
I understand that he was a dominant person and strict with the children. But these were for their good as can be seen now .Mrs.TRS had gone out of the way to help despite their own problems and I am sure TRS completely backed her. As far as I know they were always together and never stayed in the houses of their children or relatives separately which speaks of mutual affection and respect.
I am sure TRS`s good deeds and the timely help to one and all have paved the way for the present `better` condition of his progenies.
